The Puppet Theater will participate in the annual meeting of Trans Europe Halles in Toplotsentrala
Stara Zagora Puppet Theater will be among the specially invited participants in the annual meeting of Trans Europe Halles (TEN) - the network of independent art centers in Europe, which this year will be held in Sofia, at Toplotsentrala, from June 5 to 7.
The forum will bring together over 200 international delegates – leaders and creators of leading cultural spaces across Europe. The theme of the meeting is “Residencies and Sustainability of Art Centers”, with a focus on good practices, management and funding of artistic residency programs.
Stara Zagora Puppet Theater will be presented by its team through a short presentation in English, including the vision for the development of the theater as a modern multidisciplinary cultural center, open to new artistic forms, international collaborations and wide audiences.
The event will be opened on June 5 at 2:30 p.m. in Hall 1 of Toplotsentrala by the Minister of Culture, the Mayor of Sofia, the President and Secretary General of TEN and the Director of Toplotsentrala. After the opening, the main panel on residencies will be held with the participation of international speakers, and the presentation of the Bulgarian centers, including the Stara Zagora Puppet Theater, will begin after 4:30 p.m.
The forum provides a unique opportunity for exchange, partnerships and visibility of good Bulgarian examples to the European community. The theater's participation is free of charge, in recognition of the significance of its project.
Trans Europe Halles (TEN) is one of the most dynamic European cultural associations, encompassing over 160 independent cultural centres in 40 countries. The network's meetings are a key place for learning, cooperation and sustainable development of the cultural sector.
