Selected Participants for the Creative Laboratory “The Word vs Silence”

The State Puppet Theatre – Stara Zagora announces the selected participants in the Creative Laboratory “The Word vs Silence”.

The Creative Laboratory “The Word vs Silence” will take place from 1 to 15 September at the State Puppet Theatre – Stara Zagora.

The laboratory will be led by Elitsa Petkova and her creative team – Ivaylo Nikolov, Iva Gikova and Plamen Petkov. During the process, the participants will have the opportunity to work in the field between word, visual language, sound, stage presence and silence, searching for new forms of stage expression.

The selected participants are:

• Hrista Petkova (director) and Kaloyan Veshkov (set designer)
• Veselina Kalcheva (director) and Evgenia Lacheva (set designer)
• Veronika Todorova (director) and Max Krastev and Nona Danovska (set designers)

The State Puppet Theatre – Stara Zagora would like to thank all applicants for their interest and for submitting their applications. We received many strong applications from candidates with diverse artistic profiles, which made the selection process particularly difficult.

We are looking forward to the beginning of the creative process and to meeting the participants in September.
