Sofia Puppet Theatre is the first puppet theatre in Bulgaria. It has been offering unforgettable emotions to children and adults for more than 70 years.

Theatre’s artistic production has explored every genre or style from puppet miniature through music stories, pantomime, theatre of shadows, comedy and satire to movement theatre and performances for adults.

Sofia Puppet Theatre maintains a repertoire of more than 25 titles and prepares up to 5 new productions every season. Nowadays it is a repertoire theatre formation with a permanent team, technical and administrative staff, two stages, workshop for production of puppets and scenery, as well as an equipped sound recording studio.
