Stara Zagora Puppet Theater presented the project for an Experimental Center for Puppet Art at the international conference TEH 99: Residencies in Focus in Sofia
Yesterday, during the first day of the annual meeting TEH 99 Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria: Residencies in Focus of the international network Trans Europe Halles, which took place at Toplotsentrala - Center for Contemporary Art, six Bulgarian projects aimed at the development of culture and art through the construction of centers for contemporary art were presented.
Among them was the Stara Zagora Puppet Theater with the project for an Experimental Center for Puppet Art, presented by Denitsa Kalcheva.
Our participation in the TEH 99 Conference was extremely inspiring. We had the opportunity to present our vision to an international community of independent cultural spaces, to exchange experiences and to build new professional connections.
We thank the organizers for the invitation and the excellent organization, as well as all participants for the inspiring exchange of ideas. We believe that this is just the beginning of new directions for development and international partnership.
Trans Europe Halles (TEH) is one of the leading networks in Europe for independent cultural centres created and managed by citizens' initiatives. Founded in 1983, the network brings together over 160 organisations from more than 40 countries, which actively work for social change through culture and art.
