State Puppet Theatre – Stara Zagora and Non-profit Organization “PIERROT” announce an open invitation for participation in the XII Art Lab "The Poets of Stara Zagora", which will be held from July 21st to August 3rd, 2022 in Stara Zagora.
Artistic director: Veselka Kuncheva
Set Design mentor: Marieta Golomehova
Vocal teacher: Milen Apostolov
Cast:
- 4 teams (a director and a set designer), selected with a casting call for projects based on "The Poets of Stara Zagora" theme ;
- 20 drama and puppet actors selected with a casting call and students at NATFA “Kr. Sarafov”.
REQUIREMENTS TOWARDS THE DIRECTORS FOR PARTICIPATION IN "THE POETS OF STARA ZAGORA" WORKSHOP:
- A Short CV (up to 2 pages);
- An Art project (up to 2 pages) including:
- A motivation;
- The idea;
- The choice of a poet/(s);
- A dramatic material (a selection of poems to be worked on);
- The required number of actors;
- The name of the set designer;
- A budget justification – detailed materials;
REQUIREMENTS TOWARDS THE ACTORS FOR THE CASTING CALL:
- A CV (up to 2 pages);
- Photos (profile and full length)
