Malko Teatro is a private theatre company established in 1996 in Budapest, Hungary by Gabriella Hadzsikosztova and István Nagy. It defends constantly its artistic and structural independency.

Malko Teatro is an open space for dialogue between arts far beyond the limits of Budapest.

The performances combine tradition and innovation, authentic music, jazz and modern dance, painting and new media.

The company works mainly with contemporary authors, creating works especially for its productions.

Malko Teatro maintains close partnership with theatres and festivals in whole Europe.
